Life in a Coffee Shop

A good cup of tea and a cookie makes for a good day. And like any good artist I have a sketchbook with me whenever I go out, although in this case it was a digital sketchbook: My iPad and Procreate. I set out to practice drawing people and was rewarded with all of life. I was surrounded by conversations about planning weddings and divorces and who was in jail, who was descended from Vikings, who loved their hamster, and everything in between. This book features the drawings and conversations from a year's worth of eavesdropping in coffee shops.
