Margaret Plumley

Artist's Statement

I travel the world and my own community, recording what I see.

My training began with black-and-white photography and developing my own film. That physical connection with the materials created a special connection to my work. Years later when I took time off from work to dedicate myself full-time to studying art, that immersion without distraction created that same sense of a connection not only to my work, but also to the places and things that I seek to represent.

I hope to share these moments with you.
